Mendocino County residents, the Fort Bragg Food Bank will be hosting a food distribution from 12 noon to 3pm today at 910 north Franklin Street in Fort Bragg. For a hot meal, residents can visit the Willits Daily Bread, Monday thru Thursday for Dinner, from 5:30-6:30pm located at 58 Bush St. Willits. For info, call 459-3947. Additionally, Seniors in Willits can participate in the Willits Seniors Home Meal Delivery program, Monday through Friday. Contact 459-6826 if you’d like information on this program. Tomorrow, the Anderson Valley Food Bank will be hosting a food distribution from 9am to 11:30am at the United Methodist Church located at 13850 Hwy 128 in Boonville. The KMUD Board of Directors will meet tomorrow, Tuesday, November 19th, at 3 pm, via Zoom. Tomorrow, and every Tuesday, between noon and 3 pm, you can recharge at the Redway Baptist Church. For those living without a home, Bridging the Gap Ministries will welcome you for a hot meal, electronics recharging, warm clothing, and, as needed, there’s limited outdoor living supplies available. Get out of the weather every Tuesday, that’s tomorrow, from noon to 3pm at the Redway Baptist Church at 1055 Redway Drive. CAL FIRE has lifted the burn suspension, but fire season designation is still in effect. Residents in state responsibility areas must also obtain a Cal Fire burn permit. Year round, you still must have an air quality burn permit to avoid receiving a violation.
Provided you have a valid air quality burn permit, Monday, November 18th IS a permissive burn day in Humboldt, Del Norte, Mendocino, and Trinity counties.
