Today the Food For People Mobile Produce Pantry will be at the Weitchpec Tribal Office between 11am and 1pm.
Food distribution will be occurring today and every Tuesday & Thursday at the Garberville Presbyterian Church located at 437 Maple Lane from 1030am to 12 noon.
Today, and every Tuesday, between noon and 3 pm, you can recharge at the Redway Baptist Church. For those living without a home, Bridging the Gap Ministries will welcome you for a meal and electronics recharging. Get recharged every Tuesday, that’s today from noon to 3pm at the Redway Baptist Church at 1055 Redway Drive. If you have donations or need additional information call 707-223-1560
Mendocino County residents, the Anderson Valley Food Bank will be hosting a food distribution today from 9am to 11:30am at the United Methodist Church located at 13850 Hwy 128 in Boonville. If you have questions, call 895-3887 for more info. For a hot meal, residents can visit the Willits Daily Bread, Monday thru Thursday for Dinner, from 5:30-6:30pm located at 58 Bush St. Willits. For info, call 459-3947. Additionally, the Anderson Valley Senior Center has hot meals available for dinner today at the Veterans Hall in Booneville. For details, call 895-3609. Seniors in Willits can participate in the Willits Seniors Home Meal Delivery program, Monday through Friday. Contact 459-6826 if you’d like information on this program.
The Northern California Community Blood Bank’s blood mobile will be at Humboldt Open Door Clinic located at 1150 Foster Avenue in Arcata from 10 am to 4 pm, and at Safeway located at 475 M Street in Crescent City from 1 to 6 pm. And as always, the blood bank is open Monday thru Friday, located at 2524 Harrison Avenue in Eureka. To schedule an appointment to donate, visit nccbb.net

CAL FIRE has lifted the requirement for residents in the state responsibility area to obtain a CAL FIRE burn permit, however, an air quality air permit is required year round to avoid receiving a violation.
Today, Tuesday, December 17th IS a permissive burn day in Mendocino, Humboldt, Del Norte, and Trinity counties.
