Mendocino County residents can receive food assistance today at the Fort Bragg Food Bank from 12 noon to 3pm today at 910 north Franklin Street in Fort Bragg.
For a hot meal, residents can visit the Willits Daily Bread, Monday thru Thursday for Dinner, from 5:30-6:30pm located at 58 Bush St. Willits. For info, call 459-3947. Seniors in Willits can participate in the Willits Seniors Home Meal Delivery program, Monday through Friday. Contact 459-6826 if you’d like information on this program.
The McKinleyville Pantry located at 1615 Heartwood Drive will be open today from 10am until 3pm.
Tomorrow, and every Tuesday between noon and 3 pm, you can recharge at the Redway Baptist Church. For those living without a home, Bridging the Gap Ministries will welcome you for a hot meal, electronics recharging, clothing, and, as needed, there’s limited outdoor living supplies available. Get recharged every Tuesday, that’s tomorrow, from noon to 3pm at the Redway Baptist Church at 1055 Redway Drive. The Northern California Community Blood Bank’s blood mobile is at the Hydesville Community Church located at 3296 Highway 36 from 11am to 5pm today. And as always, the blood bank is open Monday thru Friday, located at 2524 Harrison Avenue in Eureka. To schedule an appointment to donate, visit nccbb.net

CAL FIRE has lifted the requirement for residents in the state responsibility area to obtain a CAL FIRE burn permit, however, an air quality air permit is required year round to avoid receiving a violation.
Today, Monday, December 30th IS a permissive burn day in Mendocino, Humboldt, Del Norte, and Trinity counties.
