Along the Coast: Rain. High near 60. South wind 7 to 9 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch possible.
TONIGHT:
Inland: Rain, mainly after 10pm. Low around 49. South wind 3 to 7 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New precipitation amounts between a half and three quarters of an inch possible.
Along the Coast: Rain. Low around 48. South wind 9 to 11 mph, with gusts as high as 32 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New precipitation amounts between three quarters and one inch possible.
Extended Forecast: Rain will intensify late tonight into Friday, especially in Del Norte and northern Humboldt, with a chance of minor urban flooding and debris on roads. The heaviest rainfall is expected early Friday, spreading south into Mendocino and Lake counties later in the day. Cooler air will move in Friday afternoon, bringing a slight chance of thunderstorms with gusty winds, heavy rain, and small hail. Lighter rain is expected over the weekend as weather systems pass through. By next week, a longer stretch of dry weather is likely, with breezy conditions in higher elevations.
