Bike Celebration Fair on Saturday, May 31st

Bike Month 2025 is underway! The Bike Month Humboldt Coalition is hosting a Bike Celebration Fair on Saturday, May 31, 2025, at the Jefferson Community Center Park at 1000 A Street, Eureka, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Join new & old friends at the fun, family-friendly and free event where we gather to
appreciate all the benefits that bicycling brings to our community! Enjoy pedal-powered
music, expo/info booths, free helmets and fittings for kids ages 7 to 14, Mexican food
truck, a free raffle, and more!
Enjoy visiting with many local organizations at the Bike Celebration, including (but not
limited to!): Adventure’s Edge with mini bike tune-ups, Caltrans District 1, City of Eureka
Public Works with information on the Bay to Zoo Trail, Coalition for Responsible
Transportation Priorities with free bike valet, Environmental Protection Information
Center, Eureka Bike Kitchen, Humboldt County Association of Governments (HCAOG),
Humboldt Bay Bicycle Commuters Association, Humboldt County Public Health with
smoothies made (DIY) by the popular bike-powered blender, Humboldt Transit Authority
with their bus to practice loading your bike on the bus bike rack, Los Giles food truck,
North Coast Co-op with delightful treats, Ponies of Harmony with some great music and
vibes—powered by pedaling, of course, Wild Trail Tours with a fun kids bike course, and
don’t forget that free raffle!
Music and free helmets are made available by the generous donations from Bike Month
Humboldt sponsors Agoochi Industries, Pierson Building Center, and Zwerdling Law
Firm.
Again this Bike Month, the leaderboards are tightening up as we enter our final stretch
of the annual Humboldt Bike Challenge, sponsored by HCAOG. The challenge is
simple: Ride 5 miles in May. Log your bike rides manually or on the Love to Ride app
(lovetoride.net/Humboldt).
