Body Pulled from Humboldt Bay This Morning

A body was located in Humboldt Bay this morning near the Hog Island Oyster Company, according to our news partners at Redheaded Blackbelt. Humboldt Bay Fire rescue swimmers recovered the deceased individual, and the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office is now investigating. The identity of the person and the circumstances surrounding their presence in the bay remain unknown at this time. We will update on this story as more information becomes available.
