Today, Food For People will be working through the Eureka Choice Pantry, from 10 until 3:45, The Garberville Pantry from 10:30 until noon, and McKinleyville from 10 until 3pm.
Today, and every Tuesday, between noon and 3 pm, you can recharge at the Redway Baptist Church. For those living without a home, Bridging the Gap Ministries will welcome you for a meal and electronics recharging. Get recharged every Tuesday, that’s today from noon to 3pm at the Redway Baptist Church at 1055 Redway Drive. If you have donations or need additional information call 707-223-1560
For a hot meal, residents can visit the Willits Daily Bread, Monday thru Thursday for Dinner, from 5:30-6:30pm located at 111 E. Commercial Street in Willits. For info, call 459-3947. Seniors in Willits can participate in the Willits Seniors Home Meal Delivery program, Monday through Friday. Contact 459-6826 if you’d like information on this program. Tuesday, the Comptche Food Pantry, Tuesdays 2-4pm at 31201 Comptche Ukiah Road. Mendocino Community Pantry, Tuesdays 2:00-3:30PM, at 44831 Main Street in the village of Mendocino.
The Northern California Community Blood Bank’s blood mobile will be The Humboldt Open Door Clinic at 1150 Foster Avenue in Arcata from 9 am until 3pm. CAL FIRE has lifted the requirement for residents in the state responsibility area to obtain a CAL FIRE burn permit, however, an air quality air permit is required year-round to avoid receiving a violation.
Today, Tuesday, April 22nd, is a permissive burn day in Mendocino, Humboldt, Del Norte, and Trinity counties.
