This Thursday, 9am, tune in for The Choice is Yours about Avocados. From the Central American Jungles 11000 years ago to the Super Bowl, the avocado has become an essential part of our diet, and seem to be a very healthy choice. But we need to talk about deforestation and soil degradation of such a monoculture. We are taking a trip to the hills of Michuacan cartels’ lands… Come with us, Thursday 9 to 10am, with Doro, Dani and Sheila. The Choice is Yours.
This concludes the Community Safety and Awareness Report, read weekdays at 11 and 3pm and as needed to bring you up to the minute road reports, burn permission status, emergency updates as well as programming information. We encourage our listeners to bookmark our community resources and calendar page for up to date and detailed information of all the services our community offers.
