The Food For People Mobile Produce Pantry will be in Willow Creek today at the Willow Creek Community Resource Center at 38883 Ca-299, between 10am and 12 Noon.
Mendocino County residents, the Willits Food Bank offers food distribution from 1-4: 30 pm at 229 east San Francisco Street in Willits. Call 459-3333 for details. The Fort Bragg Food Bank will be hosting a food distribution from 12 noon to 4pm today at 910 north Franklin Street in Fort Bragg. For a hot meal, residents can visit the Willits Daily Bread, Monday thru Thursday for Dinner, from 5:30-6:30pm located at 58 Bush St. Willits. For info, call 459-3947. Seniors in Willits can participate in the Willits Seniors Home Meal Delivery program, Monday through Friday. Contact 459-6826 if you’d like information on this program.
Food distribution will be occurring today and every Wednesday at the Garberville Presbyterian Church located at 437 Maple Lane from 2 to 4 pm.
The Mendocino Food and Nutrition Program will be hosting a drive-thru pop up for fresh, premade food distribution in Willits tomorrow at 1250 Blosser Lane from 10am to 1130 am. Swing by for a delicious premade meal.
The Northern California Community Blood Bank’s blood mobile will be at Mad River Community Hospital located at 3800 Janes Road in Arcata from 11 am to 4 pm, and at Six Rivers Brewery located at 130 Central Avenue in McKinleyville from 12 noon until 6 pm. You can help to keep our community trash-free by joining the Eel River Clean-up Project tomorrow, and every Thursday. Join ERCP tomorrow at 9:30am at the Garberville Vet’s Park, across from Dazey’s, to help keep Southern Humboldt roadsides trash free.

CAL FIRE has lifted the requirement for residents in the state responsibility area to obtain a CAL FIRE burn permit, however, an air quality air permit is required year round to avoid receiving a violation.
Today, Wednesday, December 18th IS a permissive burn day in Humboldt, Del Norte, and Trinity counties, however, today is a NO BURN DAY in Mendocino County.
