The Food For People Mobile Produce Pantry will be at the Wiyot Community Distribution site today, from 10 am to 12 noon at 1000 Wiyot Drive in Loleta, and at the Bear River Community Distribution site from 11am to 1pm today, at 263 Keisner, in Loleta.
Mendocino County residents: the Leggett Food Pantry will be hosting a food distribution at 65100 Drive-Thru Tree Road from 1230 to 3pm. For additional details, call 925-6343. In Laytonville, a food distribution will take place today at 375 Harwood Road from 2 to 4pm. For info, call 984-8089. Willits residents can visit the Willits Food Bank, today from 1-4:30pm at 229 E. San Francisco St. in Willits. Questions? Call 459-3333. The Fort Bragg Food Bank will be hosting a food distribution from 12 noon to 3pm today at 910 north Franklin Street in Fort Bragg. For a hot meal, Fort Bragg residents can visit the First Baptist Church at noon today on the corner of Franklin & Pine in Fort Bragg. Call 964-3422 for more information.Seniors in Willits can participate in the Willits Seniors Home Meal Delivery program, Monday through Friday. Contact 459-6826 if you’d like information on this program.
The Northern California Community Blood Bank’s blood mobile will be at Vocality Community Credit Union located at 757 Redwood Drive in Garberville from 9 am to 3pm, and at Paul’s Live from New York located at 101 12th Street in Fortuna from 11 am to 4pm. CAL FIRE has lifted the requirement for residents in the state responsibility area to obtain a CAL FIRE burn permit, however, an air quality air permit is required year round to avoid receiving a violation.
Today, Friday, December 20th is a permissive burn day in Mendocino, Humboldt, Del Norte, and Trinity counties.
