The Food For People Mobile Produce Pantry will be in Willow Creek today at the Willow Creek Community Resource Center at 38883 Ca-299, between 12 Noon and 2 pm.
Food for People will be hosting food distributions around Humboldt County today. The Eureka Choice Pantry located at 307 W 14th Street will be open from 10 am until 3:45 pm today. The McKinleyville Pantry at 1615 Heartwood Drive will be open from 10 am until 3 pm. In Fortuna, the pantry at 2292 Newburg Road will be open from 10 am until noon today. Residents in Trinidad can visit the pantry at 409 Trinity Street from 10:30 am until 12:30 pm today. The Arcata Pantry at 501 9th Street is open today from 4 to 6 pm. And in Garberville, the pantry at 437 Maple Lane will be hosting a distribution from 2 to 4 pm.
Mendocino County residents, the Willits Food Bank offers food distribution from 1-430 pm at 229 east San Francisco Street in Willits. Call 459-3333 for details. The Fort Bragg Food Bank will be hosting a food distribution from 12 noon to 4pm today at 910 north Franklin Street in Fort Bragg. For a hot meal, residents can visit the Willits Daily Bread, Monday thru Thursday for Dinner, from 5:30-6:30pm located at 58 Bush St. Willits. For info, call 459-3947. Seniors in Willits can participate in the Willits Seniors Home Meal Delivery program, Monday through Friday. Contact 459-6826 if you’d like information on this program.
The Mendocino Food and Nutrition Program will be hosting a drive-thru pop up for fresh, premade food distribution in Willits tomorrow at 1250 Blosser Lane from 10am to 1130 am. Swing by for a delicious premade meal.
The Northern California Community Blood Bank’s blood mobile will be at Redwood Memorial Hospital located at 3300 Renner Drive in Fortuna from 10 am until 4pm. And as always, the blood bank is open Monday thru Friday, located at 2524 Harrison Avenue in Eureka. To schedule an appointment to donate, visit nccbb.net
You can help to keep our community trash-free by joining the Eel River Clean-up Project tomorrow, and every Thursday. Join ERCP tomorrow at 9:30am at the Garberville Vet’s Park, across from Dazey’s, to help keep Southern Humboldt roadsides trash free.

CAL FIRE has lifted the requirement for residents in the state responsibility area to obtain a CAL FIRE burn permit, however, an air quality air permit is required year round to avoid receiving a violation.
Today, Wednesday, January 15th is a NO BURN DAY in Mendocino, Humboldt, Del Norte, and Trinity counties.
