Today the Food For People Mobile Produce Pantry will be at the Orleans- Karuk Senior Center located at 459 Asip Rd from 11 am to 1 pm.
The Mendocino Food and Nutrition Program will be hosting a drive-thru pop up for fresh, premade food distribution in Covelo today at 76300 Grange Street from 12 noon to 1 pm. Swing by for a delicious premade meal.
Today the Henderson Center Farmers’ Market offers patrons the freshest Humboldt-County-Grown and GMO-free produce along with plants, meats and other wonderful products. The Henderson Center Farmers’ Market is open from 10 am to 1 pm on the corner of Henderson and F streets in Eureka.
Mendocino County residents, the Mendocino Community Food Pantry will also be hosting a food distribution today, and every Thursday, from 2 to 4pm at 44831 Main Street next to the Mendocino Presbyterian Church. The Fort Bragg Food Bank will be hosting a food distribution from 4 to 6pm today at 910 north Franklin Street in Fort Bragg. For a hot meal, residents can visit the Willits Daily Bread, Monday thru Thursday for Dinner, from 5:30-6:30pm located at 58 Bush St. Willits. For info, call 459-3947. . Additionally, the Anderson Valley Senior Center has hot meals available for dinner today at the Veterans Hall in Booneville. For details, call 895-3609. Seniors in Willits can participate in the Willits Seniors Home Meal Delivery program, Monday through Friday. Contact 459-6826 if you’d like information on this program. Tomorrow residents can receive food assistance at the Gualala Food Pantry from 11-12:30 at 37300 Church St in Gualala. For additional info, call 884-4330.
The Northern California Community Blood Bank’s blood mobile will be in Old Town at 619 2nd Street in Eureka from 10 am to 4 pm, and at Premier Financial Group located at 725 6th Street in Eureka from 11 am to 4 pm. CAL FIRE has lifted the burn suspension, but fire season designation is still in effect. Residents in state responsibility areas must also obtain a Cal Fire burn permit. Year round, you still must have an air quality burn permit to avoid receiving a violation. Provided you have a valid air quality burn permit, Thursday, November 14th IS a permissive burn day in Humboldt, Del Norte, Mendocino, and Trinity counties.
