The Food For People Mobile Produce Pantry will be in Blue Lake today at the Community Resource Center at 111 Greenwood Ave between 10am and 12pm.
Food distribution will be occurring today and every Wednesday at the Garberville Presbyterian Church located at 437 Maple Lane from 2 to 4 pm.
Today, Mendocino County residents, the Willits Food Bank offers food distribution from 1-430 pm at 229 east San Francisco Street in Willits. Call 459-3333 for details. The Fort Bragg Food Bank will be hosting a food distribution from 12 noon to 4pm today at 910 north Franklin Street in Fort Bragg. For a hot meal, residents can visit the Willits Daily Bread, Monday thru Thursday for Dinner, from 5:30-6:30pm located at 58 Bush St. Willits. For info, call 459-3947. Seniors in Willits can participate in the Willits Seniors Home Meal Delivery program, Monday through Friday. Contact 459-6826 if you’d like information on this program.
The Northern California Community Blood Bank’s blood mobile will be at the Eureka Mall located at 800 West Harris Street from 9 am until 1 pm, and at Eureka Natural Foods located at 2165 Central Avenue in McKinleyville from 9 am until 1 pm. And as always, individuals can donate at the blood bank daily, Monday thru Friday, located at 2524 Harrison Avenue in Eureka. To schedule an appointment, visit nccbb.net
You can help to keep our community trash-free by joining the Eel River Clean-up Project tomorrow, and now, every Thursday. Join ERCP tomorrow at 9:30am at the Garberville Vet’s Park, across from Dazey’s, to help keep Southern Humboldt roadsides trash free.

CAL FIRE has lifted the requirement for residents in the state responsibility area to obtain a CAL FIRE burn permit, however, an air quality air permit is required year round to avoid receiving a violation.
Provided you have a valid air quality burn permit, Wednesday, November 27th IS a permissive burn day in Humboldt, Del Norte, Mendocino, and Trinity counties.
