Grace Hudson Museum Presents 1948 Film, Johnny Belinda

On Saturday, January 11 from 2 to 4 p.m., the Grace Hudson Museum will host a
screening of the 1948 film, Johnny Belinda. The Mendocino Coast stands in for
a remote Nova Scotia island in this fascinating drama, featuring Jane Wyman
in an Oscar-winning performance. A watercolor by Ray Strong, featured in
the Museum’s current exhibit, Earth Portraiture, depicts the film’s
farmhouse.
Earth Portraiture, featuring Ray Strong’s Northern California landscapes,
closes on January 19.
