Humboldt Bay Jane Doe Identified as Missing Woman
As reported in last night’s newscast, a body was discovered in Humboldt Bay Tuesday morning near the Hog Island Oyster Company, according to our news partners at Redheaded Blackbelt. Humboldt Bay Fire rescue swimmers recovered the deceased individual, and the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office initiated an investigation. The identity of the person and the circumstances surrounding their presence in the bay was unknown, however, on Wednesday, December 11th, the Sheriff’s Office issued the following update:
