Humboldt County Supervisor Probes Status and Future of Local Health Care

According to the American Association of Medical Colleges, the U.S. will face a shortage of more than 85,000 physicians within the next 10 years. At yesterday’s Humboldt County Board of Supervisors meeting, 4th District Supervisor Natalie Aroyo gave a presentation on the outlook for medical services in Humboldt County to the Board ahead of a community meeting and panel discussion scheduled for January 27.
