Regenerative Mental Health Nonprofit Launches in Humboldt, Offers Free Lunch Visits to Local Organizations
Regenerative Ranch Foundation, a new Humboldt County nonprofit providing regenerative wraparound mental health care to children adopted from foster care, has launched an innovative outreach program designed for busy social service providers.
Instead of traditional lunch-and-learns that require hours of travel, RRF’s Cart-Side Connect program brings free lunch and program resources directly to local offices. Partnering with Hot Deli Dogs, a popular Humboldt food cart, the program serves classic and veggie hot dogs with drinks, along with information about RRF’s personalized care services.
“Social service professionals are stretched thin. Cart-Side Connect is our way of honoring their work while making sure families know that regenerative, whole-person support is available in Humboldt County,” said Amy Scolari, Regenerative Ranch Foundation program coordinator.
Founded in 2024, the Regenerative Ranch Foundation offers wraparound care funded through California’s Adoption Assistance Program, giving adoptive parents the ability to choose services that fit their children best. Programs include equine therapy, art and music therapy, neurofeedback, integrative counseling, aquatic and sports-based activities, mindfulness practices and nature-based excursions. Each plan is created to meet the emotional, developmental, and spiritual needs of each individual youth client and their families.
Local organizations in Humboldt County that serve foster and adopted youth, or have clients in these categories, are invited to request a free lunch visit. RRF asks for at least three weeks’ notice to schedule.
