Searching for another place to live
Hi my name is AL and I’m 65 years old semi retired handy man with various skills and tools. I worked at many places around the bay area and also in my travels when I left the bay area to find a place I can really call home sweet home with my motorhome and small truck. I get to living my life and it surprises me when I actually get to feeling content and happy where I’m living, the creative stuff I come up with for my joy and for my survival. I got a welder today to help me frame out a small trailer frame so I can secure tools and supplies and some so if I ever find another place I’ll be somewhat packed up ready to go. Every time I moved I lost and this move that’s coming I don’t want to lose again. Out of the 35 times that I moved from places I rented I had lost alot of my hard work efforts making a nice place out of it, and also tools and material to make a nice place that I could not drag along. I’m good I’m sober I’m healthy and I strive to eat healthy, I have a 7ft by 3ft garden box and I have chard of sort, green purple yellow with big leaves and I also have dino kale and curly kale and strawberries, I’m a pretty good organic gardener and I even have a mulcher and i make my own compost mixing up some good soil. I listen to mellow classic rock music that grooves me. I only have a small cat that when I’m outside she is outside but when not we are both inside. I have no one that can help me, family don’t exist in my life and so mostly on my own but busy doing my hobbies of sort at home where I like being mostly.
I’m renting right now and I pay $500 a month total, I get one thousand social security so leaves me with $500 for gasoline for truck and generator and propane for cooking and heating for my motorhome, monthly insurance payments on my truck and the motorhome is on non-op, motorhome runs and goes thou. It don’t leave me with much but I’m okay because I don’t eat much. I can feel young at times when my aches and pains are not reminding me that I’m getting old. I have character reference and reference from people that I worked for in the past. I’m just trying to find home and to be treated fairly. I can be of help at a retired pace doing weed whacking with my commercial grade weed whacker or chainsawing or cutting out brush, mow lawn with my gas powered push mower. I’m also a mechanic of sort that can repair most small engines and some larger ones. I know my carpentry well, some had called me a carpenter engineer. I can do metal fabrications and weld, and I have plenty of other skills. I been doing most of this stuff since I was a kid and when keeping at it, it only gets better.
