A classic hard rock show with some progressive rock, blues rock, country rock additions. It was inspired by the band Humble Pie. When I heard the album Performance Rockin the Fillmore, the term ROCK ON was heard all throughout the show! I also believe that everything you do in life, you should ROCK ON 🤘

I grew up in the 60-70’s in the S.F. Bay Area listening to all the rock stations there. It was how we all learned about the new bands and when they were touring!
The RADIO was our internet in those days! Debbie & I moved to Southern Humboldt in 1983. We had KERG here in Redway which was the voice of the community at that time. As KERG faded, Redwood Community Radio KMUD was formed in 1987! I started the JJ Burner show in 1988. I wanted to be Jay ( as in joint ) Burner, but the powers at be said no! So I came back with JJ Burner and that was accepted! Hence the term BURN TWO JAY’S !! I continued rockin & burnin until 1991 when I took a break to help Rock On Debbie raise our two wonderful daughters. In 1996, I was asked by my neighbor and friend, JJ Hall, who was the host of the Coconut Wireless to join him on his show! We had just returned from a trip to Hawaii and hearing the music here on KMUD took us back to the islands!! So I joined Ke Ke Kanaka Kapakahi O’ Kalaponi on the show, and I became Jahwaiian Jerry! We had a wonderful time and put on many Luau’s for Kmud.
Then on May 17th 2008 we unexpectedly lost Ke Ke. We were all shocked and devastated. I continued on for another 9 years with help from Jasha Mae but for me it just wasn’t the same without him. My last Coconut Wireless was Dec 19th 2017, yes it was very hard but Debbie & I are still Hawaiian at heart ❤️ So I had to get back to my Rock & roll roots and started ROCK ON with JJ Burner on Feb 11th( my birthday)2019🤘ROCK ON KMUD.
