"Diving In" is just that: a dive into the medium of radio and the medium of music. Music tells stories, creates moods, provides comfort (or distress), makes you laugh, rouses you to dance and sing, and keeps you good company.
I choose music that touches on some - or all - of those aspects. Often I share bits of research about the music (and musicians.) Primarily I pull from the shelves in our KMUD library; this includes old and new releases, and music representing many styles and cultures from around the world.
