| Family, Friends, Neighbors and Colleagues, Elizabeth and I would like to share that I am now officially running for the California State Senate in the 2026 election. Our current Senator, Mike McGuire, has been a shining star for our community and our state. Now that he is term-limited, and headed for another leadership position, I seek to pick up where he leaves off. I’m doing this because we need bold action and a different trajectory to confront and fix California’s problems. No half-measures, no nibbling around the edges: I’m all in.
