   This is for Darren the DJ of Global Vibes. My name is Matthew, I called in to the show on Sunday, May 23 and thanked him for playing Ata Kak. I just wanted to reiterate how grateful I am for his music curation. He closed the show with two of my favorite artists from CIV and Mali, both countries I grew up in. He played Alpha Blondy and Amadou et Mariam and I just wanted to thank him again. Many thanks to everyone at KMUD for your continued support of humanity through the arts.    When playing “Here comes the sun ” why not play the original with George Harrison, it is beautiful. Of course you may not have it, but then leave a poor imitation alone. I am an 86 year old widow that loves to listen to music and I do enjoy Monday’s classical music and of course honky tonk bill that is amusing and do plays some good tunes. Needless to say you must know what people wants to listen to which is amazing to me. There is so much wonderful music in the world so it hard to understand that all this noise is popular. I will be happy to donate the day the music program changes.
