The Clarke Historical Museum Celebrates Local, Indigenous Culture

On Sunday, April 27, the Clarke Historical Museum invites cruise visitors and locals to a vibrant celebration of local Indigenous culture. From 11 AM–4 PM, enjoy immersive exhibits, touchable regalia by Bradley Marshall (Hupa), and try on traditional jewelry and a Native cap from Shirley Laos’ (Trinidad Rancheria/Yurok/Karuk/Chetco) personal collection. Meet these esteemed docents and shop handcrafted items from local Indigenous vendors.

Let’s show our international guests the heart and soul of Eureka—where history lives, and culture thrives!

Everyone’s welcome—don’t miss this unforgettable day!
