Todd Barton Memorial Fundraiser

KMUD was deeply saddened at the sudden passing of Garberville Volunteer Firefighter Todd Barton. In addition to volunteering for Garberville Fire for 40 years, Todd was a beloved member of our community and volunteered countless hours for the Southern Humboldt Emergency Preparedness Team and the Southern Humboldt Amateur Radio Club, including working closely with the KMUD newsroom, assisting with emergency preparedness planning and training our team on the use of HAM radio.  The Friends of Garberville Fire Protection District have set up an account at Vocality Credit Union for those wishing to contribute to funeral expenses.
