TONIGHT:
Inland: A 10 percent chance of rain after 4am. Patchy fog before 1am, then patchy fog after 4am. Otherwise, mostly cloudy, with a low around 43. Calm wind.
Along the Coast: Rain likely, mainly after 4am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 47. South wind around 8 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.
Extended Forecast: Another round of light rain will move in on Wednesday, mainly affecting Del Norte, Humboldt, and possibly Trinity counties, though rainfall will be minimal. By Thursday, temperatures will warm significantly, with some areas like Ukiah nearing record highs around 70 degrees. However, the mild and dry weather won’t last. Starting Friday, a more active pattern will bring a series of storm systems, leading to rain and gusty conditions over the weekend and into next week. Heavy rainfall and possible flooding are expected as we approach the holiday week, with storms intensifying and sticking around through December 27th.
