SYNOPSIS: Expect unseasonably warm days with mild highs well above average, but nights will remain chilly. High clouds will clear today, allowing for cooler nights in the coming days, while the risk of sneaker waves along the coast remains.

Inland: Mostly sunny, with a high near 58. Calm wind.

Along the Coast: Sunny, with a high near 59. Calm wind becoming north northwest around 5 mph in the afternoon.

Inland: Patchy fog after 4am. Otherwise, mostly clear, with a low around 38. Calm wind.

Along the Coast: Patchy fog before 10pm. Otherwise, mostly clear, with a low around 38. Calm wind.

Extended Forecast: Warm, sunny afternoons and cool, crisp nights will continue under high pressure this week. A weak front may bring some clouds late Wednesday or Thursday, with only a slight chance of light rain or drizzle, mostly along the far northern coast. Coastal areas from Del Norte to Northern Humboldt may see very light precipitation, but significant rainfall is unlikely. Another system could bring a better chance of rain later in the weekend, but the dry and warm pattern is expected to dominate for now.
