SYNOPSIS: Expect a chilly start to the day, with temperatures feeling near freezing in many areas. Highs will remain below average, so bundle up if you’re heading outside. Despite the cold, the day will stay dry, with no rain expected.

TODAY: 

Inland: Sunny, with a high near 61. Calm wind.

Along the Coast: Areas of frost before 10am. Otherwise, sunny, with a high near 57. Calm wind.

TONIGHT:  

Inland: Mostly clear, with a low around 33. Calm wind.

Along the Coast: Areas of frost after 4am. Otherwise, mostly clear, with a low around 35. Calm wind.

Extended Forecast: The next seven days will stay mostly dry, but expect cold mornings and nights, especially today, Wednesday morning, and over the weekend. Friday and Saturday will bring gusty winds, with coastal areas potentially seeing gusts over 30 mph and interior ridges experiencing similar conditions on Saturday. Morning lows will hover in the 30s for most areas, but interior valleys could dip to near 20 degrees by Sunday morning, making it feel even colder with wind chill. Rain chances remain low, with only a slight chance Friday night. If you’re near the coast or in windy areas, prepare for blustery conditions later in the week.
