SYNOPSIS: Expect mostly calm and clear skies throughout the day, with some coastal areas experiencing a light marine layer. Inland temperatures will reach the mid to upper 60s, while coastal areas remain cooler. Overnight temperatures will drop into the mid-30s in some areas. There is a small chance of coastal drizzle, but no significant rain is expected.

Inland: Sunny, with a high near 62. North wind 3 to 8 mph.

Along the Coast: Sunny, with a high near 53. North northwest wind 6 to 10 mph.

TONIGHT:  

Inland: Patchy fog. Otherwise, partly cloudy, with a low around 38. Calm wind.

Along the Coast: Patchy fog after 10pm. Otherwise, mostly cloudy, with a low around 37. Light and variable wind.

Extended Forecast: The calm weather will continue through the weekend, but a major shift is coming early next week. By Tuesday night, rain will move in, bringing moderate to heavy downpours through Wednesday. Gusty south winds could reach 45-55 mph in higher elevations, with the potential for minor power outages and debris on roads. Snow levels will drop as colder air moves in, with snow expected as low as 2000 feet by Wednesday night. By Thursday, highways like 299, 36, 3, and 199 could see heavy snowfall, making travel difficult. While uncertainty remains about exact snowfall amounts and wind intensity, expect significant weather impacts midweek, especially in the mountains.
