Thunderstorms may bring lightning and brief heavy rain, but flooding concerns are minimal. Gusty winds are possible, and up to 3 inches of snow may accumulate in higher elevations like Scott Mountain Pass.

Along the Coast: Showers and possibly a thunderstorm before 1am, then a chance of showers and thunderstorms between 1am and 4am, then showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm after 4am. Low around 43. South wind 5 to 7 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
Extended Forecast: Showers will taper off during the day Tuesday, followed by drier and colder conditions for the rest of the week. Interior areas and the North Coast will likely experience frost and freezing temperatures Wednesday through Friday mornings, with lows in the mid-30s or colder. Expect patchy fog in valleys, especially after recent rains. Coastal areas, like Humboldt Bay, have a high chance of frost and near-freezing temperatures. Thanksgiving weekend will bring continued dry weather, with warm days in higher elevations but cool and foggy conditions persisting in valleys.
