SYNOPSIS: Expect dry weather with mostly clear skies and chilly overnight temperatures. Morning fog or low clouds may linger in some valleys, but daytime highs should feel mild, especially in sunnier areas.

Inland: Patchy fog before 10am. Otherwise, partly sunny through mid morning, then becoming sunny, with a high near 63. Calm wind.

Along the Coast: Areas of frost before 10am. Otherwise, sunny, with a high near 56. Light and variable wind.

TONIGHT:  

Inland: Patchy fog between 10pm and 1am. Otherwise, mostly clear, with a low around 30. Calm wind.

Along the Coast: Clear, with a low around 35. Calm wind.

Extended Forecast: Dry and stable weather will continue through the weekend and into next week. Nights will remain cold, with temperatures dipping into the low 30s along the coast and even into the 20s in colder interior valleys like Hayfork and Weaverville. Despite the frosty mornings, sunny days will bring warmer afternoon temperatures, reaching into the mid-to-high 60s in some spots. High pressure will dominate, keeping conditions calm and stable, with little change expected into midweek.
