SYNOPSIS: Clear skies and chilly conditions will continue today, with temperatures in the 30s in many interior areas. Expect high clouds later today, which may bring a slight warm-up overnight.

Along the Coast: Mostly sunny, with a high near 62. Light northwest wind.
TONIGHT:
Inland: Partly cloudy, with a low around 36. Calm wind.
Along the Coast: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 44. Calm wind.
Extended Forecast: Tonight will be another cool night in the mid to high 30s for inland areas. Light rain may reach Humboldt and Del Norte on Saturday, though it’s expected to be minimal. A stronger system is set to arrive Sunday night into Monday, bringing widespread rain and gusty southerly winds. Humboldt and Del Norte counties have an 80-90% chance of receiving around an inch of rain, while Mendocino, Lake, and Trinity counties have a 40-60% chance of similar rainfall. Del Norte’s higher elevations and the King Range could see up to 2-3 inches. Gusty winds will be strongest along the coast and on exposed ridges, with a high chance of gusts over 50 mph in some areas. Another round of rain and wind may occur midweek.
