SYNOPSIS: Chance of thunderstorms is forecast for the interior of Northwest California through at least Friday, with additional chances through the weekend. Storms may produce strong and gusty outflow winds, heavy rain and hail.

Inland: Sunny, with a high near 91. North wind 7 to 13 mph, with gusts as high as 18 mph.
Along the Coast: Mostly cloudy, with a high near 64. Light north northwest wind becoming northwest 5 to 9 mph in the afternoon.
TONIGHT:
Inland: Mostly clear, with a low around 56. North wind 6 to 11 mph becoming light after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 18 mph.
Along the Coast: Cloudy, with a low around 56. North northwest wind 6 to 8 mph.
Extended Forecast: Expect cool and cloudy mornings turning into mild, partly sunny afternoons (highs in the low‑60s). Dry and stable conditions should dominate through early August. If you plan to be near the coast, remain alert to changing ocean dynamics due to the ongoing tsunami advisory.
