SYNOPSIS: Gusty northerly winds will continue to diminish into

the middle of the week. Hot and dry conditions will continue this

week as a ridge settles into Northwest California.

In Humboldt and Mendocino Counties, grass pollen counts are high. 

TODAY: 

Inland: Sunny, with a high near 87. North northwest wind 7 to 11 mph, with gusts as high as 18 mph. 

Along the Coast: Sunny, with a high near 70. Breezy, with a north northwest wind 7 to 16 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph.

TONIGHT:  

Inland: Mostly clear, with a low around 54. North wind 7 to 14 mph, with gusts as high as 22 mph. 

Along the Coast:  Mostly clear, with a low around 52. Breezy, with a north wind 10 to 16 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph.

Extended Forecast: Gusty northerly winds will continue across the North Coast and higher elevations through Tuesday, gradually diminishing by midweek. A persistent high-pressure ridge over the eastern Pacific will maintain warm and dry conditions across Northwest California. Interior regions, especially Trinity and Lake counties, could face a moderate HeatRisk next weekend, with Sunday, June 8th, likely being the hottest day. Coastal areas may see occasional marine stratus at night, but overall temperatures will remain slightly above average.
