NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE REPORT

SYNOPSIS:  Sunny skies and warm inland temperatures are expected

today and Tuesday. Coastal areas will remain cool and breezy

today. Tuesday winds are expected to start to diminish. Wednesday

Coastal and valley clouds are expected to increase along with

cooler temperatures near the coast. Friday and Saturday warmer

temperatures are expected again.

TODAY: 

Inland: Partly sunny early, then becoming sunny, with a high near 80. Breezy, with a north wind 8 to 16 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph. 

Along the Coast: Sunny, with a high near 63. Breezy, with a north northwest wind 8 to 13 mph increasing to 15 to 20 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 30 mph.

TONIGHT:  

Inland: Mostly clear, with a low around 48. Breezy, with a north wind 12 to 17 mph becoming light. Winds could gust as high as 26 mph. 

Along the Coast:  Mostly clear, with a low around 45. North northwest wind 9 to 14 mph becoming light and variable. Winds could gust as high as 22 mph.

Extended Forecast: High pressure continues to build across the region, leading to warmer inland temperatures and mostly clear skies, though some areas are experiencing gusty winds and low humidity. Frost occurred in a few higher elevation valleys early today but is not expected tonight due to a warmer air mass. A weak upper-level trough will bring cooler temperatures and coastal stratus midweek, though no precipitation is expected. By Sunday into early next week, some weather models suggest the possibility of rain with another approaching trough, but confidence remains low.

The next low tide will be at 1:08 pm.  The next high tide will be at 8:13 pm.  The waxing gibbous moon set at 3:09 am in the northwest. Eventually, the moon will rise again in the east at 1:49 pm.  According to the solunar theory, today is a good day for fishing, the fish activity forecast is high.
