Tribal Council leaders: Tolowa Dee-ni’ Nation Chairperson Jeri Thompson and Vice Chair Scott Sullivan; Pulikla Tribe of Yurok People Chairperson Fawn C. Murphy and Vice Chair Moonchay Dowd; Cher-Ae Heights Indian Community of the Trinidad Rancheria Vice Chair Robert Hemsted and Chairperson Garth Sundberg.

In a historic agreement, three Tribal Nations signed an inter-tribal treaty to co-manage the Yurok-Tolowa Dee-ni’ Indigenous Marine Stewardship Area, safeguarding biodiversity, cultural heritage, and ocean health for future generations.
