Community Safety and Awareness Report for Thursday, March 8th, 2012

•The Humboldt County Health and Human Services Mobile Outreach Program will be in Redway today, from 10am to 2pm.  They will be offering assistance with MediCal, CMSP, and CalFresh.  Referrals for county mental health services including assessments, counseling and ongoing case management will also be available at the Redway First Baptist Church on Redway Drive today.

•By this weekend you might tune to 88.3 to find nothing there. Time to try a click to the left!  The installation of the new transmitter for KMUE has begun. Progress and weather permitting, a tower crew will mount our new antenna this week. Once that work is completed KMUE, 88.3, will be switched off and come back much better and stronger on 88.1 FM. Just a click to the left, and you’ll find your favorite station on 88.1.  

•Tune in tonight at 7pm for SoHum CPR.  That’s tonight, from 7 to 8pm, right here, on KMUD.
