Warrant suspect arrested after foot chase

According to the KMUD News Department:
On March 15th 2011, officers were contacted at the Arcata Police Department by a female requesting assistance in removing an unwanted man from her vehicle. The woman told the officers the man was a friend, but they had become involved in an argument and he would not get out of her car. Officers responded to the parking lot of the Arcata Police Department and contacted the man. The on-duty watch commander immediately recognized the man as having an outstanding warrant for unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor. The man fled from officers, leading them on a foot pursuit for several blocks through downtown Arcata. He was eventually located hiding in the backyard of a residence in the 600 block of G St.

Duncan Sevenstars Devine, 22, of Arcata was taken into custody and booked into the Humboldt County Jail on the outstanding warrant and resisting a police officer.
