Bill Shoemaker passed away

Bill Shoemaker, KMUD's Monday Classical music host, passed away this Monday morning, November 15, at the V.A. hospital in San Francisco. He had been battling lung disease and was in and out of the hospital over the last few months We will surely miss this gentle man. We knew him not only as a superb classical programmer, but also as an accomplished quilter, as well as photographer, and as someone we looked forward to seeing at the station each week.
