Community Safety and Awareness Report for Thursday, June 2nd, 2011
•CALFIRE Defensible Space Fire Safety Inspectors will be inspecting Cathey Road and Maple Hills Road and plan to inspect Bear Buttes Road and Salmon Creek this week. The aim of the inspections is to identify potential fire hazards and educate landowners on defensible space and strategies for making their residences and buildings more fire safe. The inspectors will be in uniform and driving a marked CAL FIRE pickup. Anyone wishing to have an inspection of their property, please contact the Garberville CAL FIRE Station at 923-2645 and visit the CAL FIRE web site at: fire.ca.gov for more information.
