KMUD hires Sarah Reid as Station Manager

The KMUD Board of Directors hired Sarah Reid of Rio Dell as its new Station Manager on Friday, January 28. She started work at the station in Redway on February 1.

KMUD’s Treasurer Katie McGuire said, "We are extremely pleased to welcome Sarah Reid as our new Station Manager. She has television production experience, and has managed employees and volunteers. She has a long history of service as a Board member of several organizations, and has lived in Humboldt County for 13 years. We feel excited that she is joining Redwood Community Radio at a very exciting time, when we are preparing to upgrade our signal, and add digital broadcasting within the next two years. We are also expanding our building this year, and welcome her oversight of that project."

The KMUD Board would like to thank our incredible staff for the extra work and care that they have contributed to the station during this eight-month period without a manager. We also thank our Hiring Committee for doing such a thorough search and interview process.
